If you’ve ever wondered what an Alsatian city might look like in all its medieval glory,\u00a0<\/span>Colmar<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0is the answer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The city has remained untouched for hundreds of years and looks like a theme park.\u00a0The cobbled streets of\u00a0the Old Town<\/strong> and “<\/span>Little Venice<\/strong>“<\/span>\u00a0seem to have been plucked from a fairy tale – one that has to be seen to be believed.\u00a0Now that we have been able to visit the city, we can confirm that it is as beautiful as in the pictures.<\/span><\/p>\n

Colmar is located in the Alsace region of France, along the Rhine River and the border with Germany, north of Switzerland.\u00a0Especially known for its wine production, Alsace encompasses picturesque medieval towns, hillside vineyards and numerous nature reserves.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you have more time, I recommend following the “<\/span>Wine Route<\/span><\/a>” which starts near\u00a0<\/span>Strasbourg<\/span><\/a><\/strong> and ends in Thann (<\/span>Mulhouse<\/span><\/a>).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
